Working in an apartment building, installing some crown in the hallways. I have my kapex setup, with my ct26, (along with several other festools nearby) So one of the residents of the building is a general contractor. He see's my setup and says it's a waste of time hooking up the vacuum to the saw, most of the sawdust just flies into the air.
I said let's try with and without. OK THEN
so I cut some MDF scrap. foop! sawdust gone.
Then I took the hose off of the kapex. Next cut: Clouds of evil MDF flying into the hallway! LOL he was staring at the setup saying holy (unprintable)
I think he's sold.
And I think a good contact, he asked for my business card. He is impressed by the (quote) "quality of the equipment"
I hope so as I spent another $500 last week at my Festool store. Cleaning kit, heavy duty vac brush/head, and a systainer for my finishing nails.
