Hi guys,
I purchased years ago an LRS400, ias2 to ct22 vac adaptor and a 5m ias2 hose this is for filling bog etc on cars we do at home as a hobby so yeah cost me quite a bit just to sand cars back anyways my car is finally ready to sand back and i finally hooked up the new festool sander and it doesnt work, it appears to be that the male air fitting on the end of the lrs400 does not go in far enough on the ias2 hose so it does not push the check valve in giving me no air, i have narrowed it down to the brass female housing is to far inside the ias2 hose or the check valve chamber has not been machined properly.
So my question is can anyone please explain to me in detail how i disassemble the ias2 hose end, i cant seem to figure out how it comes apart even with the diagram, because of the hose kink protector i cant see the circlip or anything much for that matter.
If someone could help out that would be great,
Cheers nick
