A situation came up today when we discovered another mistake by our tile/granite guy; who, BTW, we had a falling out with over a similar issue.
Seems the last job he did for us, he failed to route the edges of a couple of pieces of onyx and we were all ready for the installation when this was discovered. So, we cannot go back to him and we are looking for solutions.
One of my guys will call around tomorrow to speak with some of the other tile shops in the area asking for an assist. I am posting this here in case other FOG members have ever routed onyx on their own. We're only talking about 8-10 lineal feet and the profile is nothing more than an ogee.
Any suggestions?
We have the tools.
