Ideas/Thoughts for Rolling Tool/Fixings Set-Up

Yes.

One picture with shorter 18ga. One with taller 18ga. Will depend on the pinner height too, but they could be overlapped.

Yeah, sorry to be slow getting back here - had to get into the workshop to measure up. FYI internal drawer dimensions are 350mm x 285mm x 85mm max.

HTH Pete

Ill have to measure my guns to find out.

Still organizing the workshop, trying to get things sorted

Thay're the 'forged quick lever clamp' from Axminster:-

Hi Pete, do those fit in the extrusions on the MFT/3 as well? Did you need to modify them at all for use?

Sorry, don't know, but they fit the MFT 1080 if that helps?

Cheers, Pete

About half the price of the  Festool ratchet clamps - not as nice, but a cheaper alternative, for sure.

Hey Dave, I fwd your info on. lets see how it works out.

Now back to the subj. I had a sys 1 being unused , I checked and with some foam in the bottem like you did, i was able to put both in it.

I have some of the mini systainers and i can put my nails in one of them. So it worked out. I got rid of the cases the guns came in dont need them now and gained a little space in me small shop.

I use a custom box I built.  Holds 2 Sys4, 2 Sys3, 2 Sys2, and 4 Sys 1. Not good for going up and down stairs, but easy to roll off the van and into a garage. (Pic shows 2 units, still under construction!)

Update:

In the end, I went for the 12-drawer Sortainer over the Rack Systainer. I spent a couple of hours cleaning my existing 4-drawer and the roll-board (they were really disgusting!). This is where I'm at now:

[attachimg=1]

I still need to get a sys1 for the larger/less used hand tools (hammer, bolsters, handsaw, etc.) that will live under the cantilever toolbox.

The new sortainer:

The drawers are labelled with a Dymo LetraTag. The 12mm wide labels are a perfect size:

I also made a proper foam insert for the jigsaw that lives in the big drawer:

I still hope to get a SysRoll, but for the time being the old-style roll-board will have to do!

Yeah, neat job JRB. Just pray it never falls over 'cos all those little screws will jam up those little drawers a treat - don't ask me how I know that.. ;)

What does the whole stack weigh, just out of interest??

Cheers, Pete
