Hi guys

Did this over the weekend. Had this idea for a while got myself the systainer for Christmas

I literally just cut the lids of the plastic boxes they came in and glued them to the back of a piece of MDF. Sprayed grey primer because that’s what I had

I think these boxes are really handy can see me swapping a few other tools into them

Thanks Mick

Nice ! It's great when it is an easy refit using the original trays / holders.

I've been thinking of using the cutting the Hitachi nailgun case internals out to fit into a Systainer in much the same way.

Oh, I hear you.  [smile]

careful getting certain automotive fluids on the systainer.  I lost a systoolbox from some fluids on a road trip.  I used it for fluid storage for a cross country trip in a 60's pickup and when I got home the plastic had been eaten away and the bottom was broken.  I am pretty sure I posted about it here.  Awesome looking systainer though.

No 22mm thinwall?  What vehicles are you using the 27mm thinwall on?  Land Rover?  I think mine has left my tool box once.  Anything that big over here us usually imperial.  I have to vent about 22mm lug nuts, well not so much the lug nuts but the idiots at tire shops who use 7/8's on them then beat the beauty covers up on the lugs nuts so a 22 wont fit anymore and I have to buy a half size set from the cornwell truck for way to much money just so I can get lug nuts off!

The 27mm thin wall was just part of a set I don’t actually need it just a set for alloy wheels
