Impact Driver

Why don't they just make a ti15, with an 18v battery? Doesn't have to be anything special, doesn't have to brake the mould, nothing revolutionary, just a simple impact driver that's tough enough to use on site and plenty of torque

Out of interest, what was the original retail price on a Ti15 with the accessories such as Batteries, charger, T loc case, chucks etc.  I can't seem to find on web.

Just want to know if someone selling one is asking to much... or way to much! :)

I waited for years on end for a Festool Impact and I got the Ti15 when it came out. I was honestly a bit disappointed with it. It was bested by virtually every other Impact I have laid my hands on - and for the price it was anything but a bargain.

Today there are so many good to great impacts - I am still waiting on one that will suit me. I did get a Fein 12V impact which is bland but it is a lot stronger than the Ti15 so happy to have it.  The best one I have seen to date are the Hitachi, Panasonic and Makita 18V impacts - they all put the Ti15 to shame. For so many reasons.

Still hoping Festool will get one out, eventually. A "regular" impact would suffice. :)

My 2014 catalogue says a RRP of £474 (including VAT) for the TI 15 Li 4,2 Plus GB Order No. 564501 (so TI 15, TCL 3 charger, CENTROTEC chuck, 2 x 4,3Ah batteries in a SYS2 T-LOC). I've found three sites that were listing it for between £390 and £410. Hope that helps.

Cheers Garry

Kind of what I thought. So the dude selling one on eBay for £700 is off his rocker......
