Highland Woodworking is the best, but not close to Norcross. Woodcraft on Holcomb Bridge Road is close to Norcross, but of course, seen one, seen them all. Peachtree Woodworking Supply is in Norcross.

I've heard that the Atlanta Cyclorama has really been upgraded and is worth seeing, especially for Yankees. [wink]
Atlanta’s Cyclorama The Cyclorama is in Grant Park. There are some trendy restaurants, mostly for the under 40 crowd, in that area and in Midtown. For great barbecue, check out Fox Brother's Barbecue in the Old 4th Ward.

Also, there is a new shopping center that just opened and is getting a lot of attention, if you're into that. It's called Avalon and is off of hwy 400 and the Old Milton exit. There's a handful of new restaurants there, too. It's a good 20 minute ride north of Norcross.
Steak houses - I am always disappointed (except for some in Texas). My steaks grilled at home are always better. Capital Grill (locations in Buckhead and Dunwoody) has a pretty good Delmonico.
This is probably what you're looking for - Buckhead is the old stand by and is the area that everyone usually recommends. Lot's of expensive steak places and other restaurants in that part of town.
