In the kitchen again - pots and pans

I bought a new Calphalon nonstick chicken fryer to replace one of our favorite pans from our original Costco set that has seen better days.

It's pretty much the exact same size and it was only $42.33 from Amazon.

Old one is on the left and the new one is on the right:

Continuing the culinary threads, what about pots and pans?

How about Demeyere & Staub? I'm using Fissler atm, will be moving over to a new set of these guys (once my new kitchen is up & running  [big grin]). Awesome.

If your on the fence for some new pans, I would stay away from any pan that uses some type of rivets inside (to connect the handle). At some point, it becomes hard to clean (well for me that is). Pans without these will never have this problem. Just my $0.002

I bought a new stainless steel chicken fryer and a stainless steel 3 qt sauce pan:

I already own the nonstick versions and love the shape of the pans so much that I wanted to get the stainless steel version.  This way I don't have to be worried about damaging the nonstick finish and now I can freely scrub the pan when necessary and use metal utensils.
