I received in the mail a Incra catalogue with a dvd.  WOW!  Impressive stuff!  Since the purchase of my TS 55 I have found little or NO use for my 10" contractor table saw.  After doing a lot (and I mean a lot!) of research for a new router table I think I have found the system that I want and need. I think I am going to bring new life to my table saw by adding the Incra table saw/router system.  The possibilities seem endless.  Upgrading my old table saw and adding a routing station would increase my production, take up less space and could possible make some other jigs and accessories useless.  I have read some fellow foggers reviews on here, liked what I have seen with the product and now have the gears turning to get this sytem in my shop.  I blame the wife and her expensive taste for this never ending home remodeling project we bought 4 years ago [big grin].

If anyone would like to add some tid-bits of info on the Incra table saw fence system please do.

Thanks guys!
Eric

dont have any info on the table saw fence but i do have it on the router table and it is ver impresive. get the whole package not just the basic one as you wont regret it in the long term. i was very close to buying the table saw version but the cash wasnt there to do it. it is still one thing i would like. maybe i could upgrade. having the router in the wings seams like a good idea . i would like one on both sides for multiple set ups. the only concern is with routing long stock on the right hand side of the saw is that you have to walk all around the saw to get the pieces. having it there for routing joints seams helpfull as there is amply space to put the parts.

I have a TSIII on my PM66 and also a old Incra jig on my drill press table.  I love the accuracy that Incra allows.

One of my best purchases I have ever made.

Alan, did you get the templates to route the different dove tails?  I was wondering if it is as easy as they make it look in the videos.  I have the rockler dovetail jig and use my of1400 with it, but the Incra system looks and seems so much faster and cleaner.

yes i got the whole lot. yes it works like the video. you dont need the templates if you want to make your own but is a lot of work. very easy to move to the various positions and back if needed.

And to think, I was looking at Incra vs a Leigh Dovetail jig over the last week. I just don't really use my OF1400 right now. Perhaps if I had a router table and/or a nice Incra setup this would change.  I must say the Incra stuff looks pretty nifty and the videos of it's use seem pretty simple for amazing results. Cost wise, they run into a similar price range, but the Incra seems to be able to deliver extra versatility as the parts looks like they could be used with anything that need precision positioning (router table, drill press, saw cuts).  I'd seen some Incra + Festool jigs on the forum and I think I need to look into this some more.

The problem I have with the Incra doing dovetails is that it is really hard to dovetail a 48'x24" glued up panel for a blanket chest or something like that.  Anything remotely bigger in size is hard to do using the Incra.

2 shay as they say [tongue]. for bigger work the seperate jig is best. but for small work it exells. you can ever do a few boxs in one go if you gang up the parts.
