Hello,
I'm introducing myself. I am an amateur woodworker in North Carolina. I work full time but love working with wood. Leather and metal. My plan is to continue working until retirement while getting my shop up to speed. Upon retiring I will then make things to sell instead of working as a greeter at Wal-Mart.

I have certainly caught the Festool bug. I find it impossible to work in a disorganized or dirty shop and Festool easily makes that a thing of the past. It has taken me a long time to take the plunge and invest in the Festool products that I have and I wish that I had done so earlier.

In retrospect I wish that I had made the decision to use Festool in the beginning because I think that on the whole I would have saved a lot by picking the direction early on. Things like dust collection and the MFT/3 are only a few tools that would have negated the need for dozens of other expenditures.

I currently own the following Festool products.

TS 55
C15
Domino 500
CT26
MFT/3
OF 1400 EQ

It's nice to meet everyone.

Welcome, you will never regret your Festools.  The sanders in particular are awesome.  I've been butchering wood since 1971, had developed an eye allergy to wood dust and bought a powered full face mask that I no longer need to wear thanks to Festools dust collection.

Welcome to the forum! Enjoy!  [smile]

Welcome!

I'll be down your way in a week to hop a flight out of Greensboro.

You can't have an even number of Festools (6). 7 is an unlucky number of Festools. 9 sounds too much like "no" in German .. so that's no good. Seems like your next safe umber is 11.

Hate to break the bad news, but you need to go out and buy 5 more Festools [wink] [big grin]
