iPhone 5

I like Apple products - but this Apple thing is getting out of control. Starting to get to a level of popularity that John Lennon got into trouble talking about ...

OK computers, phones and music players ... I'm over it.

If Apple made a direct brain implant, would people rush out and buy it? YEP, they would - ironically, without thinking.

I would just like i would buy a direct brain implant if Festool Made one.  ;D ;D

I use to be a Tinkerer when it came to electronics and preferred things that could easily be customized; however now, I just prefer electronics that do what they say with little effort on my part.  I have too many other things to worry about.

Blasphemy, you will burn in hell. ;-)

Three microphones?  How are they using those that doesn't cause phasing issues -- is one for phone purposes and maybe the other two in a stereo configuration for recording?  That might make the most sense...  but still...

The only thing on the list that looks worthwhile is the expanded storage capacity on the larger one.

Bigger screen is nice and all but hardly a selling point.

The problem with the bigger screen on the iPhone is that ios doesn't natively scale applications, so the majority of your 3rd party apps will be letter boxed unit further updates are rolled out. I'm sure all will be updated fairly promptly as Apple seem good on such issues, look and feel being their bread and butter. Just a word of caution to early adopters.

All Apple products come with free 24x7 mind control. A brain implant is not needed.

If you think the recent update was painful, imagine how upgrading the brain implant would feel. [eek]

The new iPhone docent have as many bells & whistles as i thought it might have but once the phone has been out for a bit i will probably get one.  A bit disappointed there is no new iMac as i was going to get one rather soon.  Some say there may be an update for it coming shortly !  Will play the waiting game a bit longer i suppose.

I posted this video link here a few years ago, but I think it's still funny today  [big grin]:

The Apple Wheel

Here are two reasons to get an iPhone 5:

1) If Shane can succumb to Apple, you're all vulnerable.
Kev is next.

2) If you don't get one, Anonymous will find you anonymously and their feather torture technics are brutal.

3) I'm working on a third.

Ken, i had to read number 3 twice, i thought you were working on something else at first  ;D

Well, I didn't succumb. Granted, I have an iPhone 4S, but it's a company phone.  [wink]

Don't get me wrong, Apple makes good stuff. I've just always been a PC guy and while I rib my iFriends, it's all in fun.  [poke]

It would cost me $549 to "upgrade" this year with AT&T, since I was going to give my 4S to the wife rather than sell it like usual.

So it ain't gonna happen. Didn't get my NFC.

I will be getting an iPhone 5 because I am a fanboy!  With that being said, here is a great Jimmy Kimmel segment.

I read today that Apple averages 50% gross profit on iPhone sales, and that profit accounts for 60% of their total company profits.

That's a lot to depend on from just one product, especially when there's a lot of competition nipping at their heels.

I'd be upset if I didn't own so much AAPL stock @ $30/share....
