It seems about everytime I am finally able to save some money for a new Festool something breaks.  This time I worked overtime and saved money for a Rotex and I come home from work to find the fridge wasn't working and then the wife comes home and says the car isn't running right.  Well, there goes that money I had saved.  This type of thing seem to happen to me a lot - last time it was vet bills for the dog and cat.  Is it just me or do any of you guys have the same problem???
Tom.

Buy only nonperishable foods, get rid of the cat and dog (and maybe the wife) and ride your Rotex to work.  Problem solved.  ;D

nice answer Shane :D I have the same problem all the time. I started getting into festool and then comes marriage, baby, then debt, but i always find time to do side jobs to buy more festool! At least at work I have the security to know my tools aren't going to fall apart like everything else in life and if they do i have a warranty!

Well, at least my naked hungry kids don't have to worry about dust in the air....

Truthfully though my clientel pays more when you walk in with nice organized, festools then cheap looking various unorganized tools. They drop extra cash for the dust free, organization, and personable. Each tool pays for itself usually in the first day or two on every job i have done.

I've been trying to save enough for a MFT1080 for months...still no closer.

I hate Amazon! LOL

Arrrrggghhh...

Sounds like you're still 40 short...      :P

Saving money?  Please help me understand, what is this "saving" you speak of.  I've never attempted such a feat... :D

We really need to get the belt sanders here. They are much smoother going down the road!
