Is there a paint stripping brush for Rotex RO 125?

The paint is flaking off of my old shed. I'd like to "finish the job" by mounting a brush to my Rotex instead of sandpaper. I haven't seen anything like this on the Festool USA web site. Does this exist? Or should I get brush/disc for my old angle grinder instead?

No 'brush" that I know of, but Saphir discs were tailor made for this type of thing.

Problem is, it has been discontinued.  You can still find some stock online though.  Uncle Bob might still have some too.

Good to know, thanks. I'll probably go with something like this on my old angle grinder to get the job done. Vacuuming up the mess will be a pain though!

. Saphir has been discontinued in 125mm size?

Sorry - it's Cristal that's been axed.  It was good at removing paint too.

Right, that, I knew about.....  Saphir being lost would have been a bad surprise. [eek]

I've had excellent luck using 36 grit Sapphire on my RO125.

Although I haven't tried it, I think the Diambrush for Wood Deck and Siding would work very well when attached to an angle grinder. I've used their concrete version and I was very impressed.

That Diamabrush looks serious! I'll check it out in our local Orange Borg. I may end up doing this in two stages: The brush on an angle grinder to clean up the worst of the mess, then the Sappire 36 on my RO 125 to finish the job.

I suggest the Metabo LF724S 3-1/7-Inch 11,000 RPM 6.4-Amp Paint Stripper. Works excellent.
