There have been various posts mentioning "Festool Connect" events in the past.  I was wondering if there are any scheduled in the near future in the US.

Thanks

Nothing has been announced about this yet, but we are planning for a Festool Connect event in 2016.

Rumor has it that Jobby maybe be getting a 9 month extension so there is a possibility of a Jobsworth connect happening this summer.....

As soon as I find if the extension went through then Jobby Connect UK 2016 is on...

Got to wait till I hear officially before I can put the word out.

I know they filled the paperwork out and submitted it as I had to sign it.

But its got to go through the approval process at Hq they have the final decision.

Yep. The gist is that Festool Connect is moving to Indiana, and it's moving to the second half of the year.

We will still be at JLC Live in Providence this year, but Festool Connect will be independent of that event. Dates for Festool Connect haven't been announced yet, but they'll won't be in the spring.

I hope to see many of you at at least one of these events!

Great Announcement!  Way to showcase Festool and all the great people who are Festool on their home turf!

Now please check and see what is going on in Indy when you plan it and certainly don't make it Indy 500 week.

A Festoolberfest makes the most sense. That's after the 500, the Brickyard and I think I read they aren't doing the Moto GP there anymore, which is a shame. 4H and most of the other stuff is during the summer. So, September-October would be great weather and not crazy tourist time.

Indiana shuts down during the entire month of May for the 500. It definitely won't be then. We also celebrate the birthday of John Mellencamp, the Patron Saint of Hoosier Rock 'n' Roll, on October 7 ... or maybe that's just in my house.

Not to drive anyone away, but I will be attending the Lebanon event.

I'm disappointed to hear you won't be running the Connect event in RI this year. I really enjoyed it the last few years and didn't mind the 2 hour drive from CT. But unfortunately I don't think it's worth over $1000 on flights, hotels, and a car rental. You have a captive audience in one of the most dense population centers in the country. Doesn't make sense to me from a marketing perspective.

I certainly understand that it isn't as convenient for East Coast users. However, Indiana is more centrally located, and it will a larger number of people an opportunity to attend.

I'm with you, egmiii - I live in New Jersey and the new location is just too far for me.

I would think the population density of the North East would provide the most attendees to that event.  Don't know why Festool wouldn't consider two events, one at each location...
