HowardH said:He was surrounded by too many suits who only cared about protecting his image and his bank account. However, take a look Michael Vick. Here was a despicable person who killed dogs for fun, spent time in prison and is now "rehabilitated" NFL comeback player of the year. Tiger had to answer to his now ex-wife but he never did anything illegal, never did drugs, never needed to be bailed out of jail. He was incredibly stupid but that's generally not illegal.

Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, he's gotten a slap on the wrist so far and the sooner he fades into obscurity the better. People of low character don't deserve to be champions!

Let the punishment fit the crime I say, and 'fading into obscurity' doesn't fit the crime at all. The only one hurt by Tiger Woods is his spouse and she's the only one who has a right to judge and punish him for his actions.

I see you forgot to mention the hurt that must have been inflicted on two young children, and will continue to be inflicted upon them as they grow up.
Woods hasn't failed to win a tournament since his affairs became public because of the "crucifixion" he has received in the press and from the public. He has failed to win because for whatever reason - physical, mental, or swing - he is no longer the best golfer out there.
I am not ashamed that I am not unhappy to see him raking in a few less tens of millions than he once did.

If she feels the need to let him 'fade into obscurity' for her then she can do so by kicking him out. If other people feel they are hurt by Tiger Woods they are hurt for the wrong reasons, and if you're hurt for the wrong reasons and demand a sacrifice, then maybe that warrants some form of punishment on it's own.

Funny enough, it is a law of nature that those individuals who are the most successful in society, by reaching a lot of wealth or a high position, can and will procreate the most. It is especially those champions you call people 'of low character' nature favours the most. Let's see how you behave when dosens of the most beautiful women beg for your attention everywhere you go.
