...at least, it is in my workshop - just got a small inheritance through, and decided to treat myself to a TS55R and an RO90, along with a few other bits & pieces:
[attachthumb=1]
I already have a TS55 - it was my first Festool, and is now around 6 1/2 years old. A couple of months ago, I pulled the trigger and there was a loud electrical bang, and the speed controller ceased to function! It still works, but only at full speed (in fact I'm sure it runs far faster than it ever did on full before, but that might just be my imagination as I usually only ran it on 3-5, depending on materials).
I couldn't afford to send it off to be repaired so have been using it like that, but now I have a replacement I can dismantle the old one & try to fix it at my leisure. Once it's repaired & back on top form it'll be going on eBay...
Took advantage of the current offer for an additional free 2nd guide rail & joiners, so I now have 3x 1400 rails & can have 2 permanently fixed together in the shop for ripping full 8' sheets.
The RO90 is for sanding (well, duh...) some upcoming projects. I also got a few centrotec drills too.
Thanks to Warren at Bunny's Bolts / Toolfest, who also threw in a free Festool towel (and a couple of pencils) which was a bit of a surprise when I opened the box (he also 'threw in the towel' when I squeezed a little extra discount out of him, but don't tell him I told you that!) [big grin]
Cheers Warren!
