Had a spare day last week, and weather been good lately, so I thought get the floor in my Ford transit sorted.

Ive had some thick  flooring tiles for a while now, thought they would be perfect. I was going to cut them with a Stanley Knife but there far to thick, so i used the saw table and jigsaw.

I took out the racking and cleaned it up,then slid it back in. Its screwed down and cable tied to the side rail.

I don't carry all my Festool equipment, it depends on the job.

It has spurred me on a bit, the next job will be to insulate roof and cover with 6mm plywood, and add some LED lights ready for the winter and those dark nights trying to load van.

Nice one, looks like a good idea for a floor that. Im looking for a tranny at the moment is yours a lwb? Was thinking of carpeting the floor but not very easy to clean so those tiles might work as i want the floor to not scratch sprayed panels.

Yes,Long wheel base, mid high roof. The tiles came from a commercial flooring supplier, they are about 6mm thick.

I have carpet-squares in my trailer. They are 24"X24" (609.6 mm X 609.6 mm). They have a sticky back so they can be lifted out if needed. If they get too wet or soiled, I can take them out one at a time to dry them out or replace them with new. They work great for me.

Yes, carpet tiles are a good idea. I've also tried vinyl flooring. The problem with Carpet and vinyl for me, is that when I slide 8x4 sheets in and out it wrecks the floor covering.

looks great, thanks for posting. I am hoping to buy my first transit LWB soon and you have inspired me!  8)
