I started a new job on Monday, and I've just finished my first week (it's a full 38-hour week, just over 4 days instead of 5 - yay for long weekends!). It's a company I worked for previously (in my pre-Festool days) building high-end, bespoke kitchens & bedrooms. I spent the last 2 days prepping doors & frames before they go into the paint booth.
Rounding edges & rebating for hinges with crappy old DeWalt 1/4" routers; no soft start, no brake, and no built in extraction. Then sanding with air-powered 6" RO sanders, over a downdraft table that doesn't work terribly well [blink]
I kept thinking "the OF1010 would be great for this job", and "the MFK500 would be perfect for this" and "I wonder what the Festool air sanders are like...".
Damn you, Festool for making me expect better! [mad]
