Besides Festool:

The Japan Woodworker specializes in handmade Japanese woodworking tools, garden tools and cutlery. When you use our fine-crafted tools and kitchen knives, you will immediately recognize why they are the best in the world.

Japan Woodworker is generally an interesting place to visit.  Much of the Festool range is available for inspection and trial.  The staff are interested and knowledgeable.

When I was in the Bay Area some months ago, it was Bill's willingness to let me play with an MFS that really sold me on it--my souvenir for that trip was an MFS 400.  If I still lived in the Bay Area, Japan Woodworker would be my dealer.

No affiliation, and I don't even get up there that often.

Bill,

Welcome to FOG.  I've been a follower of youR site for a long while.  It's good to see that you added the Festool line to the other fine tools that you represent.

We encourage Festool Dealers to take part in dicussions in the FOG forums.  As a Festool Dealer, you are in a a unique position to provide quality information to Festool owners.    Also, please take a look at the forum Dealer rules here:http://festoolownersgroup.com/index.php?topic=9.0.

Again, welcome aboard.

Regards,

Dan.

Actually, Japan Woodworker has been a Festool dealer for a long time.  Great store, unusual place to shop in many ways.  Bill is probably one of the most knowledgeable Festool guys in the US.  They stock a full line of tools and accessories.

It was Bill who came up with the "adapter" that allows the D36 hose to work with the D-27 size tools (like the sanders).  I'll photograph and start a thread on that part soon.

Great knowledgeable resource.  Good to have you on FOG.

Dave

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Sorry I haven't visited for a few weeks, I also spend quite a bit of time volunteering for the local Boy Scouts.

If you have any questions about our products, please don't hesitate to contact me.
