I am interested in those Jessem roller hold down thingies?

Seth,

They are awesome. They do their job very well and don't get in the way.  Hold things down nicely for rails and stiles and even panels (horizontal bits of course).

Even fit the Festool CMS  fence...

I'd like to try a power feeder set up  [cool]

Can't tell from the picks but the wheels are at an angle, so they draw the material to the fence and keep it snug against the fence as well as to the tabletop. Since this is on my CMS, about the only thing it doesn't do is pin stock to the fence, but that doesn't concern me.

Definitely like the Stock Guides and thanks for posting that link!  [big grin]

I have a little 1/8 hp feeder and next time I need to run a lot of ln. ft. of the same profile (like making some custom trim) I'm going to give it a try.

Oh that's really nice. I have the same Incra fence going to be  checking into them seriously.

Those really look fantastic.  Eventually I will get these for by Incra Wonder Fence.  Call me crazy, but I wonder if these could be used when ripping on a table saw.

Absolutely!!  I don't remember if it was the JessEm video or not but people definitely use them with table saws. Like I mentioned earlier, they draw the stock to the fence. Here is a poor attempt at a video.

Curse you guys, just when I thought I was done buying things for a while and yas went and did to me...again...

Hi all,
Just used the jessem roller guides on my table saw. ripped some 5' stock that just needed a few thousands shaved off. They worked great! I could have used one finger to push them through that would have been a little on the stupid for no reason side of things!
Just make sure you clamp down the fence ends as the pressure from the rollers will lift the fence.
Absolutely worth the money. Even if just for the router table

You can get them at rutlands on the uk now for £100, little bit steep in my opinion

It is, and that's the sale price too! Regular price is £120!!! Even taking shipping & VAT into account, that's a proper shafting. [eek]

I just went on the Jessem website to see if they ship to the UK, but they don't. [sad]

Well on the other had Jess-Em sells them for $99,95, add shipping, customs and UK VAT on that and 1:1 USD:UKP conversion isn't that bad? Apple sells everything with a flat 1:1 USD/Euro price and no-one complains...

I have the guides on my CMS and like them.  I don't use the supplied CMS feather boards at all.  However, I do think the guides could be used in conjunction with the Festool offerings, they would just have to be positioned farther away from the opening.

I think it's quite wrong to say that no-one complains, I'm sure some do. I would, but I don't really buy apple products.

Thanks for the heads up on those fabulous things  [tongue].. and for helping me spend money  [crying]
I just ordered them from Woodcraft for $99.

I have had a shopping basket on and of for a year with Woodpeckers to get some really nice router bits I haven't found anywhere else. Those Jessem guides was to much for me to let the basket sit there any longer.
