Jessem TS Stock Guide knob/bolt size

Hey guys, anyone out there that knows the size of the knob/bolt on the Jessem TS stock guide?

Just to clarify, I don't mean the length.

Do you mean the diameter of the thread? That's 5/16-18. If you mean the knob, that's 16mm, 13.2 mm and 19 mm.

So I need a 5/16 bolt to match with the threads? Sorry but Im used to metric  [crying]

I am used to metric as well, being from mainland Europe. But getting some 5/16-18 bolts actually wasn't that hard. A couple of years ago I bought myself a small collection of empirical-sized nuts and bolts (mainly 1/4-20 to go with my Incra T-tracks) to use in tools and jigs. Another option could be to tap a new thread with metric diameter and speed. That shouldn't be too hard, but I don't know if you have access to the required tools for that. To me buying a set of appropriate nuts and bolt has been a real time-saver (no need to adapt metal to metric sizes).

Do you have access to an industrial supply house?  I have to think it would be nicer to replace that with another knob rather than a bolt, so it can be loosened and tightened by hand.

Or get some wing bolts from a local hardware store or an online retailer? Those might be (a lot) easier to come by, depending on your situation. But yeah, a bolt with a fixed knurled knob would be even better and aesthetically more pleasing as well.
