Hi,

Can two FS1400 LR-32 Rails be joined together and still be guaranteed 32mm centres over the joint in the rail? I haven't got them one to check but thought some of you may have done it in the past to verify this. Other option would be to buy FS2424 LR 32 Rail, but that is seriously allot of money to justify it's purchase. [blink] [eek] [scared] [crying]

Yes, it can be done.  Just use the lr32 guide rail spacer to achieve this.

This part comes with the lr-32 kit.  By spanning the two protrusions on one side of the block over the two rails the 32mm spacing is maintained.  (There will be a small gap between the rails)

Hi Ken,

Thank you for your advice, I shall have a go at it when I'm am back to work tomorrow. I thought it would be possible but wasn't sure how.

When you join the two tails as mentioned, be sure to check that they stay in alignment by using a straightedge or a level across the gap as you tighten the screws in the connector bars.

Hi Sparktrician,

Thank you for your advice to.
