Just completed bookshelf job.

Just think of some of the really great National Geographic books that are "oversized" when compared to standard book.  One good example is an atlas.  They're HUGE in comparison, and it's nice to be able to put them on a shelf without overhanging.  Great job, by the way.

One elegant solution is to make a few shelves only 7" deep. Then you can put paperbacks on it comfortably but still put tall vases, photos etc. on the shelf below and they will have room to stand up in front of the short shelf.

You have to drill a third set of holes part-way back but it's hardly noticeable.
