Just curious if this is what the KSC60 does

I recently picked up a KSC60. Nice saw.
I’m noticing that after the Bluetooth trip the dust extraction on fine but upon completion that it pulses on again shortly once the three seconds or so hose cleaning cycle is done.
Just wondering if that is the new normal?

Rick

I can't say I've noticed behavior like that.

Start saw > delay > CT 48 kicks on > stop saw > delay > vac turns off.

That's it. Later today I can double check.

Thank you for answering.
Mine does: start saw > delay>CT26 starts> stop saw> CT runs the delay time and starts to decelerate in speed. When you thinks I’m ready to stop it accelerate for a split second then decelerate to off.
The CT26 doesn’t do that with other Bluetooth tools.
Thank you.
Rick.

Apologies for not testing it yesterday.

Paying even closer attention, there's such a minimal delay in it kicking on I would hesitate to call that a delay. When I let off the KSC 60, there's the normal hose clearing and that's it; no ramp up afterwards. \

Have you updated the Bluetooth firmware on your batteries and the Bluetooth module on the CT 26? I forget if the Bluetooth remote has a firmware update as well, but it's worth checking. I know my batteries are up to date, though I need to check the KSC.

Thank you for your reply Chainring. The batteries are new and came with the saw last week.
The Bluetooth unit is less than a year old.
Not sure on any updates.
I will try the other new battery and additional older BT batteries in the top position tomorrow.
Thanks
Rj

Definitely check for updates on batteries, remote and module. Since the Festool app is available in the US, it's now super easy to do updates.
