You can order this from our service department at the number below.

The flag stops for the MFT (495542) work just fine.

The only difference is the flag but the short side is the same as for the UG wings.

Hi Shane called and talked to service department they told me they didn't have an item # and that I would have to order it in pieces and put them together. Anything you could do for us would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, the ekat lists a KA-UG flag stop as parts only, no combined part number. That's why you got the reply you got. They would have to manually enter all the numbers too. Penalty with a parts system. Ever tried to order car parts ;-)

For each KA-UG flag stop it looks like you'll need the following:

Code:
Number	Description qty	Price
-------------------------------------------------------------
436420	Rotary knob M6 x 28 1	1.50
200578	Washer 6,4 mm 3	0.85
474734	Stop support 1	2.02
228566	Square nut M6 1	0.85
474741	Bush	   			1	2.59
228541	Hexagon nut M6 1	0.85
400477	Cheese head screw M6 x 25	1	0.85
700184	Limit plate	       		1	3.32
	      					-----
						.53

As proposed the MFT/3 Flag stop can be ordered as one part and you don't have to go through the service department for it.

I looked at both types of stop's and they look easy to assemble if you have a two nails (rod or a custom make wrench) and a 5mm allen key. The nails (thick ones) you clamp in a vice where so they will go through the existing two holes in the 'stop support'. They will hold the 6mm hex nut (real name would be 6mm lock nut) as you tighten the 'cheese head' screw (real name would be 'socket cap screw').

Only difference with this flag stop and the mft/3 flag stop is the size of the 'flag'.

Unfortunately, the mft stops don't seem to fit well. The flag stop cannot lower all the way to where the material rests. I would recommend that one buys the parts from the ekat system.

This is what I use on mine and they work just fine.

If you rotate the stop 180 degrees it should work just fine.

Ken

I could do that, but then the black plastic will cross over into the area that the material will slide across. I also realized I'm using the mft stops for the 1080 and 800. That may be why.

Fit just fine on the MFT 3, UG wings and CMS. I leave the stops high of the table so any saw dust can pass the stop. Don't want the dust affecting the length.

Thanks tom for the pics. Upon closer inspection it's definitely because I'm using stops for the old mft. Looks like only the mft/3 stops are compatible.

Hi Tom - the photo you have on that link is for the MFT-AR PN# 490555 (the "old" MFT flag) and not the newer MFT/3-AR PN# 495542. That could have caused some of david7586's confusion.
