HI

I've just taken delivery of a KA-UG-L (Part #497353) left hand extension for a KS120 and I'm in the process of getting it up. I find that when I have tightened the clamp that the arm can move freely backwards and forwards along the V groove.

Is this normal? I expected it to fit firmly.

I can see that the flanges on the clamping part engages with the mounting plate and that is what is preventing it from clamping tightly.

Thanks in advance.

Slacken it off and aim to get the tab slid in under the base casting, then tighten it up. If that makes sense you'll be doing very well  [wink]

Great photo of how it needs to go. It is not obvious what the correct position is the first time you set it up. That would be a good addition to the manual.
