I have my eb set since 2007. (at the time the UG set didn't exist).
The extensionwings for the eb set are the same as the trimstops for the CS70 saw (which I already owned) and can also be used with the mft3 table (there's a slot in the back that fits the protractor instead of the standard fence).
Not long after I got it, I ordered extra support brackets, this made the stand a lot more practical; In the standard setup it was a real pain to keep the stock supported if you wanted to make multiple cuts out of a long profile. With the extra brackets installed I have no real need for the continuous support the UG wings offer. (You can find the partnumbers on the ekat site, the price isn't high (the extra brackets I ordered for my dewalt stand to fix the same issue costed about 6x more) I got 2 but 4 would be ideal.

When the stand was introduced in the US (It has since been discontinued in the US) ,they added extra struts to keep the wings in line (before, they could easily be knocked out of allignment if you bumped into it. (I ordered those aswell, but I did modify them a bit; I changed the holes into slots with a small anglegrinder, so I could leave the wingnut installed.

When I need to bring the stand to work, I leave the crownstops, brackets, flipstops etc. attached, I only remove the legs, and the struts and I made a very basic tote to carry all the parts. (old pictures, I added some clips for the struts and a place for the mft-bolts and plastic bits)

(If you leave the crownstops attached to the wings, there's no need to recalibrate the tapemeasure (which is super easy anyway)
There are a lot of advantages of the UG stand over the EB version. (Price, ease of setup (one fold-out leg per side vs 2 that need to be slid in and out of a pipeclamp) , ease of transport (you can roll the kapex and the wings and probably even the vaccuum in one go), continuous support of the workpiece, I think you can slide out the upper part of the kapexfence for bevelcuts with the stand installed, can be used as in-/out-feed for mft3 or cms.
There are also some advantages to the EB stand: the crownstops can also be used as an extra guide for narrow stock, the groove in the crownstop can be used with railclamps to have an extra holddown clamp; Allthough not continuous, the supports are wider than the UG, the flipstops are also wider, so you can place the fence a bit further back (usefull if the wood you're cutting is a bit bowed, so it's easier to push it flat against the fence of the kapex). I think that once setup, it's also a bit more stable with the mft and the double legs.
And somehow I think that transporting the kapex vertically isn't ideal for keeping it calibrated.
Finish carpentry is only a small part of the work I do, so I don't need to transport my kapex a lot, so I haven't gotten the UG stand.
/edit: It took me way too long to type this post, and I hope it finally gets through, I removed the attachments, and I'll try to add them later.
