Kapex 120 extraction

Hi guys,
I'm new to fog and to the world of Festool  [big grin] just got the K120 and was wondering if there is an adaptor that goes on the outside of the saw port and then onto my midi extractor hose (which would normally go inside of the saw port) ?
I'm just thinking it may give better suction, perhaps with a shorter hose too.  [big grin]

If you have a 27mm hose currently, it pushes inside of the Kapex extraction port. If you have the 36mm hose, it pushes over it.

The 36mm will absolutely give you better dust control, but there is no adapter that goes between your 27mm hose and the Kapex that will improve things.

A number of us have short 36mm hoses directly from the Midi to the Kapex and this works very well.

Don't think you can. Best thing is to get a 36mm hose it certainly will be better. Get the a cleaning set with non antistatic hose.

I just got the full kapex ug set at Christmas and have a midi already. I found this to be the best optionhttp://www.powertool-supplies.co.uk/#product10165

You get a 36mm non anti static hose which is 3.5m but I cut in half which takes seconds to do. You also get a full cleaning set that will come in handy and a sys 5 too so well worth the money. You can buy the hose alone but it's £60 so this is a better option.

How weird. Just tried in Tapatalk and it does resolve correctly, but it doesn't through IE, FireFox or Chrome on Windows 8.1.

Thanks for that, I now know what I'm after  ;D  and where to come for sensible/experienced advice 8) better get shopping.....
