Kapex angle finder or copping saw.

Mitering or coping inside miters on cabinetry is definitely personal preference.  I tend to miter inside cuts since the inside angles tend to be a constant, so there is very little need to use an angle finder or to cope.  Especially with prefinished materials, it just looks a cleaner, and is a bit faster in my opinion.

Bur with room crown, I'm starting to make the switch to coping instead of mitering.  But that might change once I either get the kapex or an angle finder.

Ken, why do you say it's not advisable to cope MDF? Too fragile or ???

First, MDF doesn't suffer from seasonal movement like wood does so the need to hide a moving joint isn't necessary.  Second, it is too fragile and difficult to get a crisp edge consistently, so it's really not worth the trouble.  Especially for production work.  Basically, you're "playing" with paper as MDF shares more in common with a piece of paper than it does with a piece of wood even though they all come from the same thing - trees.  No reason that you can't get some small pieces of MDF and try it for yourself.  If you're happy with the time and results, go for it.
