Good Afternoon,
Just got my Kapex set up and checked error according to p24 of Supplemental Manual. I have several questions about this:
1. Is the Factory Spec of +/- 0.16 calculated using the formula embedded in the Supplemental Manual?
2. Using the data from my test: cut 4 offcut left width = 0.194, right width = 0.189 and length = 6.06, error= 0.013
Is this acceptable from the factory, or can it practically get better?
3. Manually calculating the hypotenuse from the width difference & length, and plugging in, 1/4 of arcsin = 0.008
Why the difference?
I'm not sure any of this makes much difference; just want to make sure I'm dialed in as tight as possible.
Thanks,
Don
