kapex how to adjust depth

I was using the kapex 2day and i wanted to set the depth for trenching so i adjusted it only to find out it does not allow the blade to be adjusted very high it jst stops, you can adjust it as deep as you like but when you want less deph there is a limit am i doing something wrong ?

In a word NO it does not come up far enough to half lap/trench a 4 by 4 I spent about an hour the other day trying. I was convinced it was me too pretty sure it does not do it. That is why I believe the saw is only for smaller wood sizes. Hope this helps Derek.

Thanx i thought i was missing something. I looked today and there does seem to be more thread availavle on the screw for it to go higher so i mite look into modifying it. As pleased as i am with the saw i do feel this is a major issue and a mistake festool should not be making on such expensive tools.
