Edit: I'm not sure I completely understand your complaint, but I believe that the center of the base (that rotates) is slightly proud of the left and right sides of the base (that are stationary) on purpose.  It's designed that way.  But I may be misinterpreting your issue.

Shane  My saw problem is the left stationary base and the center base [ that rotates] are level with each other. The problem is the right stationary base is lower causing my level to rock when you are checking level across the unit. Will this affect my accuracy on miter cuts. I just read your post I will send you my e-mail
