hey there
the kapex saw i have in my shop now for a couple years was mainly used as a cut off saw. never did too much accurate trim work with it in my shop because i mostly used a miter gauge on my table saw. But the other day i noticed it was off on the 90 degree cut. So i adjusted it in according to the manuel and even tested it using the 5 cut method. and got it pretty much dead on. but then when i tested a 45 degree cut i noticed it was cutting more like 45.5. so i figure okay it must be off and check again the 90 and is dead on. then i try 45 right and left and both my 45 cuts seem to be cutting more like 45.5 which makes no sense since the saw is dead on the 90 cuts and cutting to wide both directions on the 45 cuts.. if it was 45.5 one way and 44.5 the other way it would make more sense but this is not the case. hope i am explaining this clear enough.
any ideas?
thanks, Jan
