Kapex not rotating to 60 degrees

My brand new kapex rotates to about 57.5 degrees to the right and stops. Am I doing something wrong?

Slide the fence back. It's probably making contact with it.

Or it could be the angle finder/bevel gizmo. You need to pull it out slightly so it doesn't stop the  the rear of the saw swinging round
