Hey guys,
I've had the Kapex 120 for a few months now and thought I'd share my results on cutting cornice (crown) moulding. I've not purchased the crown stops as yet, so thanks to Dave Reinholds clip on utube for the sacrificial timber method.
Having been used to a 12 inch Dewalt, which produced good results, but not as good as I'd of liked, the anticipation was killing me to find out just what results could be achieved with the 10 inch Kapex.
Was I impressed? I really couldn't fault the cut, the joint was glued up and I couldn't pick fault with it. So YES very impressed [big grin] I'm thinking the less blade wobble with a ten inch is a contributing factor here.
Dust collection was ok too, very good compared to my old Dewalt 708.
All in all all, I wished I'd of got one years ago! There's certainly no going back now. [eek]
A few pics below, apologise that it had to be a B & Q kitchen I was working on [scared]
