I have the stock 60 tooth blade, and have installed a zero cleareance insert, and fence(s) to eliminate chip out.
Yet, sometimes, I get chip out on the top surface, depending on the wood.
To eliminate it, I scribe the cut about 1/16" deep with the blade, and then pull back on the saw, and finish the cut.
You don't get to the very end (at the fence) depending on the material thickness, but chip out is all but eliminated.
