Hi all,
Once I take my (approx 6mnths old) Kapex to get serviced (as it's not cutting square/mitres or accurate, and the bed is not flat, and the amount of sawdust it's spews out the back from what I can tell from others on here it's not working correctly in this regard as well), what I want to know is, when I go back to the shop to pick it up, what would be the best practice on checking its all fixed?
Does one do some test cuts in the shop? Should I take a level and check that in the shop too? Is there a standard method to test all is a.o.k with the saw before I bring it back home besides simply doing some random mitres and bevel cuts?
