Looking for suggestions, I cobbled this up quickly on site and it works but its not long term.
This is basically a plea for help...

David, I think your best bet is to wait it out for the new Festool extensions.  I have no idea when we might see them here in N. America.

Brice I may wait it out but Neil's extensions are pretty good.
I may get my welder to make a Sawhelper saw stand and Sawhelper legs. Then make crown wings and make a continuous crown stop using the slots. Good ideas.

Yes, that's it.  Looks to be a huge improvement over the old Festool extensions.

I think it looks like a huge disappointment.
It is not compatible with the best part of the Kapex, the crown stops.

I just got the US kapex extensions, so far I really like them but, time will tell.

Why are the crown extensions the best thing? there a few posting of some nice set ups attached to the wings. my attaching points are my weakest part of my set up... and when I trim the house this week with MDF base, the length of the wings.

They are the best crown stops that I have ever used that the actual tool manufacturer made.

For me, they are a necessity.  Ever trim job I do involves crown moulding, some exclusively.
