Kapex ug cart Bracket height

Hi Guys

well i have had my kapex for about 7 years and i use it nearly every day.

some jobs i go on there is heaps of room others im in a 1 bedroom appartment.

I just purchased the ug cart and have had a play with it. it is very easy to set up and take down and take off with the cart with the black holders still attached to the saw. this will be very handy if you just want to carry the saw in to a job.

However the height of the kapex is now 186mm with these parts attached and does not work in with a systainer for support left of right

so frustrating this has been overlooked

You're right about this.
But you are aware that the Kapex without the UG holders is the exact height of a SYS 1?

But with the UG holders attached they should at least have chosen the height of a SYS 2 (158 mm) or 3 (210 mm) and not something in between (186 mm).
Maybe you can change the height of the rubber feet underneath the UG holders?
It's only 24 mm difference for a SYS 3.

It hasn't been over looked. Get the ug extensions or Wings or whatever they're called lol. I got the whole set with my kapex and they are one of the best bits. A lot more accurate than the usuall stands as they are connected direct to the saw base so there's no play.

I had to fit some new handrail and spindles on a job before Xmas. Cutting all the spindles exactly the same length was easy with the flag stops.

But i can see sometime want to take it off the cart and i dont want to take off the 4 screws that hold the black connectors on
it should have been made to suit a sys 2 or sys 3

Sorry Bryan I got you wrong I thought you meant that when it was on the ug that it wasn't the same height as a stack of systainers .

  That would've been cool for it equal a Sys - II or III.  Maybe on Kapex/2 ?  (No that is not a rumor that one is coming soon).  For now I guess some type  of spacer for the Sys - I or II. Maybe the spacer could be something dual purpose?
