Here is my new setup. I like it so far. The wings don't weigh that much and its a solid setup. I know not for everyone.
Kapex wings, what do people use / prefer

Why bother with wings when you have a perfect bench top to use? Modify your cabinet to drop the Kapex in so it's bed is level with your bench top. Use two extrusions as a fence and one of the multitude of stops on the market and you likely have a better setup than you can buy commercially.
I have 14' of Beismeyer fence that I picked up for $100 with two stops. It is a really nice fence system but having extension wings elevated above the bench top is a pain as it limits what you can utilize the bench top for. I plan to build a rear shelf level with the top of the fence and enclose drawers below the wings but having the whole countertop at one level would be much nicer.

I saw your setup earlier overanalyse, for a mobile setup that's perfect. I like the idea of the t-tracks for clamping.
Kevin, I am going to sink the saw but wanted to make sure that the UG were not a quicker and / or better option before proceeding. I'm actually going to attach a pair of crown extensions to increase the immediate surface area of the saw and utilise the bench with a sliding fence and stop - I'm just going to use a larger version of the same alloy extrusion as I can order it to exact length and it works out cheaper (kind of).
