Keda Wood Dyes

I have a project coming up to make a dining set from red oak. The woman wants a toxin-free finish. I prefer to use my current favorite of 100% pure tung oil and citrus solvent, but I was thinking of perhaps dyeing the wood a slightly darker hue. Does anyone have any experience using Keda Wood Dyes? Comments, issues, suggestions?  Also, have you ever used this with tung oil?  Thank you.

do you have a link to your orange solvent you use  ? I like to work with Tung oil but never seen the Orange solvent . & I also await feedback on the Keda dye

ThanX that should ease the suffering my wife gets when I thinners & she's exposed .
looks like great stuff , it's expensive but on things in side the home I feel it's a must have product .

Yes, Slappy.  That is a big reason why I use  toxin-free finishes.  Happy wife, happy life.  Paint thinner, is not a winner.

I just got the first trial kit of Keda wood dyes, been playing with it since Friday, haven't been using normal wood colors but I can tell you these dyes create stunning colors blues, green and others. I tried some blue and turquoise colors on some curly Maple and Cherry and really liked the results started with black first sanded the black back that only highlighted the stripes and then applied color over that. See below. Amazon has a trial of all five colors for 12.95. Well worth it.

Look at Trans Tint dyes from Homestead finishing. I believe General Finishing has water based dye stains also.

+1 for Trans Tint.  I really like their mission brown dye for craftsman furniture.
