Every time I was making something in the workshop, my 4 year old son would climb into it and asked if I can make him a house. So I made him a house. It is his own private space where he can read and play with his iPad. His little sister (pictured) also likes it. Sometimes we find them squeezed in together sitting side by side.

It is 24mm Russian birch + dominos. Removable desk attached by a couple of keyhole slots. 'Exterior' painted with two coats of white wood wash. Everything coated with clear polyurethane.

Very good idea. I suspect in a year your son might ask for a drape so his little sister will not distub him all the time!

Very cool.  I've watched several Tiny Houses episodes on TV, but I think yours wins  [big grin]

The little ones tend to grow.  Fast.  Pretty soon there won't be room for both of them, and you'll need to build another.

Terrific idea,  Congrats.
