Keter WorkTables on sale at Costco $49.99 through 6-15-14

Scored 5 of them at about $33ea after tax. One of those no brainer buys at that price.

What's the advantage of the Keter vs the B&D Workmate?  The Keter looks useful, but I don't understand the excitement.  I have an old Workmate WM420 that has been "heavily used" (aka pretty beaten up) that I've used for a bunch of projects where my MFT is not appropriate.

Regards,

Dan.

Once it hit $30 it was a no brainer. Easy setup and take down, rugged, portable, height adjustable, what's not to like at $30?

Except for the $30, everything else mentioned is why I bought one.

Great find - I stopped by my local Costco and picked one up at the $29 price. It was the last one in a box besides the display
model. I am not usually a fan of plastic benches but this does seem well made and at the $29 it was a "no brainer."

Here are the differences in the tables depending on where you buy them:

Configurations:
SAMS version; adjustable legs; 2 quick grip clamps, rated @ 700lbs, ~$59
WALMART version;NO adjustable legs; 4 "holding" clamps & 2 toggle clamps, rated @ 1000lbs, ~$59
COSTCO version; adjustable legs; 4 "holding" clamps & 2 toggle clamps, rated @ 700 lbs, ~$49

Color variations:
SAMS is black & neon green
COSTCO is black & yellow
WALMART is black & red

Obviously, if you have ANY fashion sense at all you'll want to get on over to Sam's Club.

[wink]

My Costco one is black and red, has adjustable legs, etc.

I need to pickup two more at $29.

I should have specified that the info I posted above is for 'current' offerings. What you found is the older version (for Costco, at least) and is why they are at that price. Nothing wrong them - I'd buy 'em in a heartbeat at that price!
