You'll laugh now. But trust me, one day you'll forget to pack the batteries for your CXS and you'll understand just how handy that adapter can be! [big grin]

I miss that bit holder. Easily the best one Festool makes as it is so easy to lock/unlock. I somehow lost it while doing some work on the floor. Clutz

That is a Wera bit holder they are great, I have several and also the two longer ones.

Ah, didn't know it was a Wera original not Festool; the Wera is Centrotec? or is that the Festool part of the equation?

Perfecto, then I can look for a 2-pack with both lengths in Centrotec

Looks like a bit of overkill, doesn't it?  [eek] [eek]

Sorry Paul, not  Centrotec, although I do have several short Centrotec versions

Actually, the other point is that the bigger hammers - like this - have a very low speed and pretty hefty motors so are /at least in Europe/ often used in place of the heftier drill drivers.

E.g. a combination of this - for the occasional heavy task - and the new CXS 18 is a pretty good setup.

The video also shows the rafterhook I couldn't spot in the previous pictures, and the way the dustfunnel-thing attaches.

I got an sds-plus to centrotec adapter with my bhc, seems more practical than chucking up the bitholder in the jacobs chuck.

There are (were) 2 versions regular and CE(ntrotec).
BHS 52 IMP and BHS 60 CE.
Wera Rapidaptor are not Centrotec, also in 75 or 100 mm length.
