Kreg K5 setup storage, Systainer or other?

I bought the full Kreg K5 setup,  but Maybe struggling to find a neat way to store and transport the set.  The clamping base happens to be to wide for most Systainers and Tstak cases I have.  I also have one of the Husky branded cases that looks like the onr they sold the big master kit in -  the one with the cantilevered storage -  but the big is also too wide for the bottom level of that case.

Right now I stuff it and the case of screws Kreg sells in one of the open Tanos storage boxes,  but am not entirely happy with the solution,  as it's not closed and I can't stack stuff on top.

Looking to store the jig and base with support wings, the micro jig, a few clamps,  and a case of screws.

Does anyone have a setup they like?

Would like to see what you did. I was just about to put my K5 in SYS-2.

I had thought about deeper Systainers, didn't like the thought of having to have one of those plastic inserts - I hate them.

I ended up buying one of these:

I had another Husky box (identical, I think, to box for the K3 set that Kreg was selling) which had the  little boxes on both levels, and the bottom level was not deep enough (even with the boxes removed) to hold the main base for the K5 jig.

This box is much deeper: the bottom level of this box is deep enough to hold it, a bunch of clamps, the two support wings, and probably a lot more.  In fact, I have the Kreg screw assortment box in there too.  I bet I could fit a cordless drill in there, maybe my C15 and the chucks.

There are also boxes on the top level. I'm using one to hold the drill bits and stops for the regular jig, another for the drill bit for the micro, another for the driver, another for the quick-change thingy, and there are plenty more for screws.  To be honest, I haven't gotten around to putting the screws in there yet, as the box is pretty big and I'm not sure if it isn't too big.

I also have the DEEP Husky box with the cantilevered top.  Easily holds everything to do with my K5 including a great amour of screws in the top sections small containers.  Got it for $29 at Home Depot. [big grin]

Thanks for posting your setup Bhend18.  Putting my Kreg K5 in a Systainer is on my list of things to do for this weekend.  Think I'll just copy your layout!

Did neeleman post that label here on FOG somewhere?  I see one thread with a bunch of his labels but that one isn't among them.

No, he makes custom labels. You send him the tools you want labels for and he makes them for you. After the exchange rate, they're about $0.70 each.

I have mine mounted permanently to a piece of 3/4" plywood.  I can hang it on a nail on the wall, then when I need it it clamps to my workbench.
