I purchased the Kreg Shelf Pin tool and 5mm Euro screws.  I would like to make shelf pin holes on a cabinet panel to use to mount drawer slides.  In some test piece, I cannot get the drawer slide hole to align with the Kreg Shelf Pin hole options (1 inch in from the edge or 2 1/8 inch in from the edge).  Do I just drawer a line where the drawer slide holes fall on the panel and align the Kreg shelf pin jig on the line?  Or am I doing something wrong?  Sorry, newbie here trying this out for the first time.

The correct distance under the Euro system is 37 mm. The Kreg jig is not designed to give you this spacing unless you make up a spacer to reduce the 2 1/8" to 37 mm (1 7/16").

Thanks.  After playing with it for a while, it turns out the Kreg does do 37mm.  To use it at 37mm, you cannot use the fence attachment it comes with.  Just put the shelf pin jig flush with the panel edge and it aligns to 37mm.  I should of read the directions more carefully instead of going crazy.
