I have a small garage and nowhere to keep a Kapex 120. I'm following the KS-60 closely but I needed a compact miter saw now and I didn't want the hassle of trying to make a KS-60 work with a transformer. So I researched compact saws that slid forward like Kapex.
It may be hard to believe, but Craftsman actually made a compact miter saw that slides forward on 2 very stable rails.
I bought it and I am so impressed I had to share. $165 out the door at Sears.
The good:

It should hold me over until the ks-60 is released here in the US.

- Virtually no deflection while sliding
- Decent dust collection
- Compact & light
- Price
- Uses 7 1/4" blades
The bad:
- Material hold down is garbage
- Adjusting bevels
- Single laser on left side of blade
It should hold me over until the ks-60 is released here in the US.
