KSC60 and Stand/extension-Help setting up!

Hello!  first post here so forgive me if this has been answered.  I saw Sedge setting up the new KSC60 and stand-I believe he recommended pushing the wing all the way back until it hits the plastic-but that leaves the two supports/back fence staggered from saw to wing.  My buddies full size kapex and extensions set up flush-the way it should be.  you can do it by eyeball but as flimsy as those things are until they are set up i feel that leaves too much room for error.  Any suggestions?  am i missing something?  i cant believe Festool would intentionally do that especially when the full size is set up so nicely....

Do you have a photo or two to show what you mean?

If understand correctly you are trying to align saw fence with wing fence?
- It needs to be done every time you mount the wings, on both the KS 120 and KS(C) 60.
Just use something straight as the extension in one of the wings, or if you have a level or similar handy when attaching the wings.
