Had to do a seam in a laminate counter top, and starting thinking how I could adapt my lam trimmer to the jigsaw "sled" that I have.  (The plastic runner for the jigsaw to ride on the rails.)

Made a base the size of the jigsaw bas from 3/8" plywood, drilled a 1" hole and mounted it to my Lam. Trimmer and it slipped right in the jigsaw "sled" and worked like a charm.
