Hi,

    Yup, making it an MFT top would be good. I didn't really need it that way for what I had in mind. I have an additional large bench for general  everything work.  At some point I will be adding an MFT also.

Great table!  As a cabinet maker, I cut a LOT of plywood.  I may have to steal your ideas.

I had forgotten about this thread.  Thanks for the link back to it, Seth!  Now that the parallel guides are available for the rails, the problem of squaring the rails for repetitive cuts has been solved.  I think a few strategic holes in the top for use with the Festool clamps might also be useful.  They might have to be a bit larger than 20mm to get the clamps through a thicker top than the MFT has.
